Auditing Expert

Reports To: Quality Team Leader and Assistant Quality Team Leader

Position Summary:  

QIRT offers everything you are looking for in a remote auditing position.

New hires will work 100% from home and perform ICD-10 coding and OASIS review. 

Applicants should carry HCS-D certification in ICD-10 and be prepared to complete at minimum 20 audits a week (following QIRT’s standard review process). Quality Team Leader

Reports To: Chief Quality Officer and Vice President of Quality Services

Supervises: Assistant Quality Team Leaders and 1099 contract employees

Position Summary:

The Quality Team Leader is accountable for the management of a team of Coders/OASIS Reviewers within the organization and supervises the tasks that these auditors accomplish. The Quality Team Leader has direct responsibility to assure that quality medical review is delivered within specific deliverables for each QIRT customer and that goals for each customer are met.

The Quality Team Leader oversees daily coordination of services that best meet the need and goals of the customer within QIRT standards. He/she works in close collaboration with the Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Operating Officer to assure that auditing personnel are appropriately oriented, trained, and supported by education and managerial oversight to meet performance, quality and productivity goals.

The Quality Team Leader provides mentoring and teaching to QIRT staff in response to auditing and monitors the outcomes of the medical review. Provides oversight to all patient care plans ensuring optimal outcomes. Works in close collaboration with the Chief Clinical Officer to assure compliance with coding guidelines and OASIS review guidelines. The Quality Team Leader provides focused, hands-on education as needed for auditing staff.

Qualifications:

Applicant must be:

Home Care Coding certified (HCS-D) & OASIS certified (HCS-O or COS-C) OR hold BCHH-C certification

2 years of experience in coding/OASIS review

Proficient on multiple EMR systems

Computer literacy is required.

Director of Business Development

Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Vice President, Post-Acute Growth Strategies and working closely with management and the Executive Team, the Director of Business Development is responsible for designing and implementing a national sales plan that supports Quality in Real Time’s (QIRT) short and long-term revenue goals. The Director of Business Development will supervise the business development and account management teams to ensure that there are in place on-going lead-generation activities and the work-flow processes to effectively manage leads to closed sale.   

The Director of Business Development is charged with identifying new-customer opportunities, establishing relationships with prospective customers and supervising account managers in the up-selling and cross-selling to existing customers.   

Identifying new-customer opportunities demands that the Director of Business Development have a strong grasp of the critical and emerging issues and changing dynamics that impact the industry, and requires attendance at selected industry conferences to both monitor industry trends and to identify and form relationships with existing and prospective customers. The Director also is expected to be familiar with the vendor community serving the post-acute care industry, including direct competitors.   

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 
  • Business development 
  • Draft and execute strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets 
  • Establish daily, weekly, monthly and annual customer/prospect-contact goals by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volume 
  • Establish key performance indicators against which to measure progress toward sales goals 
  • Establish work-flow processes to ensure business-development and account management associates meet revenue expectations 
  • Ensure effective use of customer relationship management program (currently Salesforce) by sales and account management 
  • Supervise activities of business-development/sales/account management associates       
  • Draft, edit and/or contribute to prospective customer proposals 
  • Deliver presentations/demonstrations to prospective customers in-person or via web 
  • Support account development associates in establishing a relationship with QIRT’s existing customer base with the goal of up-selling additional services and cross-selling services across business units 
  • Attend seminars and conferences in the post-acute care industry 
  • Remain up to date on emerging industry trends, changing regulations and policy initiatives that will impact the post-acute care industry and on QIRT’s products and services 
  • Works with VP, Post-Acute Growth Strategies and CFO on budget development and management 
Job Knowledge/Skills Requirements
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in increasingly more responsible sales/business-development roles, preferably in the post-acute arena. 
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets 
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close 
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors 
  • Experienced team leader, adept at managing talent through organizational change 
  • Deep knowledge of the post-acute care provider community 
  • Deep knowledge of the post-acute care regulatory structure 
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written Ability to travel 20-30% of the time. 
  • Computer literate 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment 
  • Ability to identify potential threats to the business, analyze potential impact and recommend solutions 

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree required
