QIRT FINANCIAL JOURNEY QCM 1
- July 23, 2018
-- QIRT's (Quality in Real Time) introduction of Quality Cycle Management (QCM) to the post-acute industry is revolutionizing the way agencies view processes by re-imagining operations for homecare billing and hospice. QIRT is an industry-leading coding, assessment review, revenue cycle management and consulting provider serving post-acute agencies across the United States. QIRT's solutions include quality, education, compliance, and financial and clinical consulting to provide Quality Cycle Management (QCM) via work-flow processes and operations that follow the patient's every step along the comprehensive journey within the organization.
QIRT leads the post-acute industry in coding, billing, and consulting. Offering outsourced ICD-10 coding and assessment review leads to accurate data, appropriate reimbursement, and improved revenue cycle. QIRT leaders realized these are separate pieces of the same journey: the QCM journey.
"At QIRT, we have re-imagined Quality Cycle Management (QCM) for the post-acute industry. With regulations like QAPI and PDGM/PDPM impacting providers at every step, we have created ways to track and support those steps, realign the journey, and put agencies on the path to continued growth and success," says QIRT President and CEO, Laura Page-Greifinger. "We have established a complete business process redesign that analyzes and recommends best practices for the QCM journey. Wondering how to prepare for the new payment model? QIRT's QCM Financial Journey helps with that. And we create these journeys individually for each agency's unique needs."
Since the Conditions of Participation went into effect January 2018, QIRT has used QCM foundations to provide information and understanding of how agencies can prepare for the future of post-acute care. Providers will undergo a "sea change" with new regulations and new payment models. QIRT began early with QCM-centered training to help organizations prepare so they can return their focus to the most important point: the patient.
In 2006, QIRT was founded by President/CEO Laura Page-Greifinger, BSN, MPA who worked within the post-acute provider space for over 30 years as a nurse, supervisor, and clinical consultant. QIRT's initial service was providing multiple types of quality assurance reviews and coding. QIRT has since expanded services to the entire post-acute space including assessment review, hospice coding and eligibility reviews, QAPI audits, and ADR response.
All care providers have workflow processes or operations that create a patient journey from initial referral through reimbursement. The workflow requires quality assurance, education, compliance, and operational strategy within each step of a comprehensive and cyclical process, what QIRT calls: Quality Cycle Management (QCM). QIRT has acquired four post-acute service companies and formed five specialized divisions designed to support post-acute agencies throughout the quality management cycle.
QIRT's employees undergo vigorous vetting prior to hiring and continued oversight and monthly monitoring to maintain top-notch compliance. The company works 24/7/365 days a year.
In 2017, QIRT was named to the 2017 Inc. 500/5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies for the fifth consecutive year. As a leader in the post-acute support industry, QIRT earned the position of 1486, showing a three-year growth of 273%. Inc. magazine reports that companies making this list have, on average, grown six-fold since 2013 in the face of an economy that grew just 6.7 percent during that time. Of the thousands of companies who have applied for this distinction, only 7% have made the list five times, placing QIRT on the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll.
